Alessia and Hera

The sister that will lay down her sword to protect her sister whom she loves. Without a second thought she will rise to serve and do all that she can to absorb all that comes against her sister. Hera the Warrior picks up her sword and fights to the very end not willing to allow anything to pass. Sisterhood is a complex beautiful relationship that is not exclusive to just blood relatives, but step sisters, cousins and best friends. When you have a soul sister you know and can’t imagine life without them. You know just how different you both are and how that makes it so much better.

This art piece was created to show that kind of relationship. I created this piece to honor sisterhood and pray one day soon it will encourage my own daughters.
